Thank you for being part of our big day!
Who else would we count on to cry during the ceremony?
Kőszegfalva - 07.04.2026

To all our favorite people
July 4th is Independence Day. At least, it was until this summer.
While the rest of the world is out celebrating their freedom, we’re gathering to officially and irrevocably commit ourselves to one another. As it turns out, there is something far more valuable than "independence": finding the person you actually want to share every single day with.
We would love for you to join us in celebrating this milestone!
Think sparklers, blooming apple trees, and dancing until the sun comes up. The only thing missing is you.
Welcome to our big day! 🎉❤️

Good to Know
⛪️ Getting to the Church
Please make your own way to the church, as the warm-up begins at 3:00 PM. Parking is available in the streets surrounding the church; it's free across the entire city on Saturday and Sunday, but if you're joining us as early as Friday, please keep in mind that parking fees still apply on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM!
🚌 Shuttle Bus / Transfers
The shuttle will be at your service from the end of the church ceremony right through until dawn, so it’ll be there to help you get home after the party too. So please, celebrate, dance, and raise a glass with us for as long as you like—don't worry about the ride home, we’ve got you covered!
🚗 Parking at the Orchard
There is room for 10 cars in the courtyard of the Almafa Event Center, and any extra cars can park along the driveway outside the fence - you're welcome to leave them there overnight and pick them up the next day. However, we actually recommend leaving your cars in Kőszeg instead, as it’ll be much easier to swing by and grab them from there the following morning!
👗Dress Code + Footwear
Since a beautiful apple orchard is hosting our wedding, flats are the way to go! Please skip the high heels (or definitely bring a change of shoes).
When choosing your outfit, we kindly ask that you avoid wearing white, black, or red.
🍽️ Food and Drinks
It’s really important to us that everyone eats well! Please let us know if you follow a gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, or any other special diet so we can pass those details along to the kitchen.
🏡 Accommodation
We know many of you are traveling a long way for us - it truly means the world to us. For those who requested accommodation, we’ll be in touch soon with a separate message containing all the details. We’d love for as many of you as possible to stay in the same place so we can catch up over coffee and breakfast the next morning! ☕🥐
🏰 Sights to See
If you find yourselves with some free time, it’s well worth exploring the charming streets and historic squares of the town center, which are all easily walkable. And if you work up an appetite while sightseeing, the nearby Kékfény restaurant is waiting for you with some great home-style cooking!
🎁 A Little Request Regarding Gifts
Our home is already bursting with IKEA plates, so if you’d like to give us a gift, a contribution in an envelope would be wonderful to help fund our future dreams, adventures, and memories together. However, the most important thing isn't the gift-it's having you there with us!
✈️ Our Availability
We’d love to see/have breakfast with as many of you as possible the day after the wedding, but please keep in mind that we’ll be heading back toward Budapest on Sunday evening, as we’re setting off on a mini-moon on Monday.
📞 Contact
Feel free to reach out to us via phone or message anytime up until the day before the wedding - we’re happy to help with anything. On the big day itself, however, please direct any questions to our dedicated translator - Mishi
Our Story

A Door Worth Holding
On a summer night in August 2021, Berni held the door of the metro replacement bus for just a second. It was a tiny gesture—yet it changed both of their lives forever. Sitting across from each other, one thing quickly led to another. Zoli pulled off a magical balancing act between charm and a desperate quest for "authenticity"—IDs were brandished, Zoli’s brother Andor was officially introduced (by proxy), and a potential trip to the Railway History Park was mentioned, which Berni naturally didn’t take seriously for a single second. But she was laughing. And that was the point. Before getting off, Zoli tried to ask for her Instagram—no luck there. The provided outlook.hu email address seemed like a total fake. But Zoli already knew: a girl who gives you an email address instead of an Instagram handle is anything but ordinary. Luckily, he was right. On August 20th, to the beat of an R&B playlist at a national holiday house party, fueled by pink pepper gin and tonics and the glow of the fireworks, they shared their first kiss. The rest? That’s our story to keep. 💫

Nesting in Prague
After four months of dating, we were officially a couple—and with that came our first big test. Right on our first date, Berni had been honest: she had a contract and was moving to Prague. Most people might have hit the brakes, but Zoli just nodded. Having lived abroad for 13 years, moving was second nature to him—even if long-term commitment was a bit of uncharted territory. So, when it came time for a scouting trip to Prague before the big move, Zoli arrived strategically packed with only two sweaters—and his two least favorite ones at that. The logic was simple: if he changed his mind before moving day, those would be his only losses. But something shifted. Before he could even overthink his decision, he was already enthusiastically stuffing a company Toyota to the ceiling with brand-new IKEA plates, pots, and all the essentials for nesting together. In August 2022, we began our life together in Prague, and we haven't looked back since. 🏠

Puente Nuevo – The New Bridge
In October 2025, Zoli whisked Berni away on a week-long Andalusian adventure to show her his favorite cities. After a few days of exploring, they headed toward the town of Ronda. Berni had no idea this hidden gem even existed - strangely enough, she’d never even heard the name. Yet, when she caught sight of the city perched on the cliffs and the bridge spanning the deep gorge, she was left speechless. After a morning coffee, they watched the sunrise together in front of the bridge. Zoli began to tell a story: the Puente Nuevo was a long time in the making -it took over 34 years of waiting before it finally connected the two sides of the city. Then, with a smile, he added: just as he had taken his time before he was ready to truly commit. But now, he was sure. He told her he wanted the two of them to build a bridge just as strong and beautiful together for the rest of their lives and he wanted Berni to do it as his wife. Then he dropped to one knee and asked the big question. Berni happily said yes. 💍
We can't wait to see you!
